6 Tips For Effortless Success (Most Women Neglect)

As a fierce, ambitious, committed entrepreneur, it’s easy to focus on incomplete projects that need your attention, other people’s needs, and your incredible, outrageous goals.

As much as I love giving money and business tips, I believe that taking care of the woman beyond the business is equally as important.

Your health fuels your business.  Your passions feed your creativity.  Rest gives you the strength to move forward.  Meditation connects you to your purpose.

It’s what happens outside of your business that feeds your business and makes it all possible.

Below are 6 simple but highly effective tips that will catapult your success:

Tip #1: Get Grounded

Being a “Type A” personality, “doing” has never been an issue for me.  I thrive with “To Do” lists, plans, schedules, and strategies – or at least I did in the past.  Once upon a time, people used to describe me as “intense.” (I prefer the word “passionate!”)

Taking time for myself and not doing anything seemed incomprehensible.  My identity was based on accomplishing things, and I didn’t know how to relax and take time off.  Writing that now sounds strange to me, as I don’t live that way anymore, but I did for a good majority of my life.

At first, I hated slowing down.  It brought a lot of emotions to the surface.  I could feel the stress, anxiety and sadness in my body.  It’s as if I could hear my body speaking and whispering messages to me.  At the time, I referred to these messages as “silent screams.”  My body had a lot to say after years of denying its wisdom.

My heart also had messages for me.  I was in a job I hated at the time and had put my education on hold.  I was off track, and it was time to go back to school and finish my Master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology.

After a while, I learned to love being in silence and connecting with my body and inner guidance.  The insight I received was profound and life-changing.

Taking time to get grounded each day is now a necessary and vital part of my life – like breathing.

We all have practices that work for us, and it’s just a matter of finding what works best for you.  It may be meditation, going for a hike, taking a walk, writing, or yoga.  Whatever it is, it’s important to make it a regular part of your life.

Taking the time to go within and get grounded will not only feed your spirit, you’ll have more patience in your business, make better decisions, and your intuition will be your guide and give you “Divine Downloads” (aka: brilliant, money-making ideas).

Tip #2: Self-Care 101

When it comes to self-care, there are so many ways to support and nurture yourself.  You can try a new, healthy recipe – pamper yourself with a day at the spa – hire someone to help you de-clutter your home and create a sacred, uplifting space – or explore a new area of interest.

When you take the time to nourish yourself, creative ideas unfold – inspiration flows – and you become magnetic. When you feel relaxed and happy, you easily attract the things you desire (money, clients, opportunities, and so much more).  Make “pleasure and play everyday” your new, favorite mantra!

Tip #3:  Progress, Not Perfection

We’re human beings.  That means we have flaws and imperfections, make mistakes, and “mess up” at times.  Life never goes according to our “perfect” plans, and we need to allow for our humanity at all times.

It’s important to focus on the incredible forward movement being made and simply course correct when setbacks and disappointments occur (because they undoubtedly will).

Get in the habit of celebrating your wins – all of them.  No more referring to your successes as “small.”  They’re all important and count.  Acknowledging your achievement actually re-wires your brain and sets you up for greater success!

Tip #4: Love, Honor + Cherish Yourself

I know that may sound a little “woo-woo,” but I mean it sincerely.  Typically, when we hear the words, “to love, honor and cherish” they’re a part of wedding vows.  I believe in the power of language, and I love these words.

We need to make these same “vows” to ourselves and not wait for someone to make them to us.

Commit to yourself.  Stand for yourself.  Celebrate yourself.  Be authentic.  Be real.  Be you.  Be proud!  We can’t expect from others what we’re not willing to give ourselves.

Your net worth reflects your self-worth.  If you want to create extraordinary, epic success in your life, you need to take a stand for yourself and your desires.

Tip #5: Honor You Body’s Wisdom + Rhythm

When it comes to your life and business, I really encourage you to honor your body’s wisdom and rhythms.  Sure, there are things that you can’t put aside until you feel a burst of inspiration, but you can definitely pay attention to your needs and listen to your body.

For example, when creating an exercise routine, take your monthly cycle into account and exercise according to your energy levels.  Each week before your cycle begins, your hormones shift and your body may need different types of exercise.

When it comes to your business, you can’t be fully charged and lit up 24/7.  Hire a great team and get as much support as possible.  If you’re feeling depleted, rest – take a break – and make sure to nourish yourself with healthy foods.  Pay attention to your cravings and trust your intuition.

Bonus Tip #6: Gourmet Sex For The Sensual Entrepreneur

When I talk about sex, I’m not talking about “Fifty Shades” or anything too outrageous.  I’m referring to the kind of experience that brings people together, creates deeper intimacy and allows for healing, growth and nurturing – where you feel safe to be yourself, express yourself and allow all parts of yourself to show up – knowing your partner can handle whatever surfaces and wants to support your healing and awakening while you receive as much pleasure and ecstasy as possible.  It’s a fun and meaningful experience.

So what does this have to do with your business, you ask?  Money, personal power and sexuality are all connected in your 2nd Chakra. This means you can transform your sexual energy into powerful creative energy that inspires and motivates you and adds a whole new depth and dimension to your business.

As you awaken your charisma and feel more vibrant, alive, passionate and sexy, you activate your “Wow Factor” – that special something that makes you totally captivating and draws people to you.

It’s also been reported that women who experience this nourishing kind of soulful sex report feeling much happier and make more money!  Win-win! 🙂

I want you to start thinking about yourself and your sexuality differently. Being healthy goes way beyond a run at the gym and getting into your skinny jeans. I want you to embrace ALL aspects of yourself – that includes your femininity, sensuality and sexuality.

How you take care of yourself is reflected in your business and your bank account.  If you want to soar and create outrageous, mind-blowing success, it’s crucial to nurture yourself on every level: physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and financially.

As always, think in terms of baby-steps and honor your process.
