Not long ago (in the span of an hour), I was asked about by two great men while working on my computer at Starbucks.

I often talk about the power of showing up fully wherever you go – dressing “on brand” (whatever that means to you) – being an “open invitation” – etc.

Here’s the thing … When you’re grounded in your power, feeling amazing, happy, totally lit up and passionate about life, you’re magnetic and captivating.

You draw (“magnetize”) people and opportunities to you.

Yes, that particular morning men approached me, but I’ve also met phenomenal women at the coffee shop.

I’ve made long-lasting friendships and incredible business contacts.

Not long ago, I had someone ask me to do a presentation at their company for their leadership team.

These kinds of things happen all the time to me.

Why? 

I’m approachable. I smile. I speak to people all around me. I show up fully. I dress for the occasion.

I feel comfortable in my body – relaxed and confident.  I’m grounded in my femininity and no longer deny aspects of my personality.  This allows me to show up authentically – powerfully – and fully present.  These qualities are magnetic.

I also expect to meet interesting and powerful people everywhere I go.

Clients often ask me where they should go to network. Personally, I don’t feel like there’s a “magical” place.

You have the opportunity to meet people who will change your life and business every time you step out of the house.

How you show up – how you feel – and what you think makes all the difference in the world.

As you go about your day today …

Be intentional.

Be positive.

Ground in your body.

Own your femininity.

Stand in your power.

Slow down.

Smile.

Expect to have a life-changing day … And you will.
